Latisha Hensley serves as the Director of Family and Community Engagement for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She is dedicated to building strong connections between families, schools, and community organizations to enhance student achievement, advance equity, and promote collaboration among all stakeholders. With more than 22 years of experience in education, Latisha is a National Board Certified Educator known for her leadership in creating innovative programs, establishing impactful community partnerships, and driving initiatives that ensure student success and equitable opportunities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College, a Master of Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a K-12 School Administration license from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
