The SPICE framework holistically develops an individual’s social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional aspects. In contrast, Parent and Child Together (PACT) Time® in family literacy promotes a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Integrating the SPICE framework with the PACT approach creates a comprehensive learning environment that addresses the family’s needs. The session will explore the integration of SPICE with PACT and provide practical strategies for implementing it in family literacy programs.
