Participants will hear how one successful site supports reading gains, especially during the summer, by empowering students and caregivers to read together, with teacher support and buy-in. Participants will learn how this model accelerates reading gains through family engagement strategies like book choice, engaging discussion prompts, and reading momentum. Participants will leave with a family and teacher activity pack and text discovery sheets to use with those enrolled at their sites.
