Measuring What Matters in Family Literacy
November 18, 2024
1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Researchers from the Goodling Institute will discuss findings from a multi-year, mixed-methods evaluation of five family literacy programs in Philadelphia. Findings draw on qualitative data and statistically significant pre-post survey data to demonstrate learning in four domains: educational, personal, social, and parenting. Information about using measures that focus on outcomes related to parents’ language and literacy capabilities, self-concepts, and social support systems will be included.
