This panel will explore family leadership as a powerful strategy for driving equity in early childhood education policy, with an emphasis on the southern region. Participants will learn about the impact of authentic family voice in policy development, hear from family leaders and organization leaders from within the Southern Early Childhood Education Justice Network, in partnership with the Southern Education Foundation. The session will highlight key advocacy agenda priorities and share promising practices for advancing equitable outcomes in early learning through family-led policy initiatives.
