Dyan Schauer began working in the adult education field in 1999 as a family literacy instructor. Since then, Schauer has taught family literacy, adult basic education, distance education, and served as a program administrator and professional developer. Schauer is presently a consultant with PA’s Professional Learning Opportunities Project with an emphasis on professional development for family literacy programs.
