Kayla has worked in education for over 20 years, first as an elementary teacher and later in adult education. Kayla currently coordinates the Family Literacy Program for Crete Public Schools. Crete is a highly diverse town of 7, 000 in southwest Nebraska. Kayla also teaches PACT and parent time sessions, provides ESL instruction, and is the coordinator for the school’s parent leadership group, Community Cafes.
