Lindsay Mattingly
Fayette County Public Schools
Lindsay Mattingly joined Fayette County Public Schools in 2020, but she has worked with Lexington’s immigrant and refugee communities for over 15 years. As a graduate from the University of Kentucky Hispanic Studies program, she is bilingual in English and Spanish. Before joining FCPS, Lindsay was the Multicultural Liaison for the Lexington Public Library for 11 years. She enjoyed teaching Spanish and English classes to the community and meeting people from all over the world who are now happy to call Lexington home. She also began organizing the annual Kentucky Refugee & Immigrant Inclusion Summit in that position and brought the conference with her to FCPS. As a District Family & Community Liaison in the Office of Public Engagement, Lindsay is excited to bring all of her experience as an advocate for immigrants and refugees, a member of the Queer community, and a mother of two to the table to better connect with and empower all FCPS families.
