Monica Jones is a dedicated educator and advocate with over 20 years of experience in education, primarily focused on creating equitable college and career pathways for all students. She currently serves as the College and Career Coach and Family and Community Engagement Team Lead at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, KY. Her professional endeavors emphasize student success and family engagement. Monica holds a Bachelor’s in Integrated Strategic Communications and a Master of Science in Human Resource Leadership. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
A recognized voice in her field, Monica has been a featured panelist and presenter at national webinars and conferences, including the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Kentucky Workforce Summit, National College Attainment Network, Titan Financial Legacy Summit, NAF Next Conference, and College Board’s A Dream Deferred. Her expertise has also been highlighted by publications such as U.S. News & World Report. Her strong commitment extends to community involvement, where she has held leadership roles in local PTAs, advisory boards, and continues to advocate for students and families.
