Nareny Martinez serves as the Bilingual Parent Liaison for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, where she supports English Learner families and coordinates interpreters for the district. She previously worked at Forsyth Technical Community College as an EL Support Specialist and later became the EL Parent Engagement Support Specialist and District Coordinator for the Toyota Family Literacy Program. Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, Nareny has lived in the U.S. since 2005. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is passionate about helping families engage fully in their children’s education and school communities.
