Sheena Jennings is a doctoral student, graduate assistant, and adjunct faculty member in Special Education and Child Development at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. With over 24 years of experience in early intervention, she has served as a service coordinator, early interventionist, coach, and local/state-level leader. Her work centers on family-centered practices, personnel preparation, and supporting effective transitions between early intervention and preschool services. Sheena is passionate about equipping professionals with practical tools to empower families in natural environments. She is actively involved in various research studies involving young children and families, including those with complex needs.
