Shelby is the Director of Programs at the Little Free Library nonprofit organization. She oversees three signature programs: the Impact Library Program, Indigenous Library Program, and Read in Color. Through these programs, 3,000+ Little Free Library boxes and 120,000 books have been granted to underserved communities. She also provides support to Little Free Library’s network of 200,000 volunteers who share books through libraries around the world. When she’s not fighting book bans and cultivating meaningful partnerships, Shelby brings art into local classrooms through a program with the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and can be found sipping coffee and reading YA.
