Susan Brigman is currently the Section Chief for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant Program for the Office of Federal Programs (OFP) at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Prior to assuming this role, Susan has served in various capacities within the OFP at DPI including Interim Assistant Director; Section Chief for the East; Consolidated Program Administrator for the Sandhills Region; and School Improvement Grant (SIG) Coordinator for the East. Susan has over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She has served as a home-school liaison for pre-k children with disabilities, a classroom teacher, assistant principal and principal.
