As Chief Officer of Neuroeducation for EVSC, Susan leads the development of GAIN (Growth in Academics through Innovation in Neuroeducation), aligning educational systems and practices with brain development to improve outcomes for all youth. Susan has held this position since 2018, previously serving as director.

Susan joined EVSC in 2010 as a school psychologist, becoming director of behavior supports in 2013 and implementing culturally responsive PBIS across 36 schools.

With a master’s in clinical psychology (1995), Susan’s previous work in western Kentucky included neurodevelopmental assessments and program development in educational and mental health settings, experiences that inspired the development of GAIN.
