Dr. Terica E. Butler has over 19 years of combined experience and has served in various roles, including a middle school English Language Arts teacher, professional learning facilitator, adjunct professor, and now Scholastic’s Director of Implementation and Development (Family and Community Engagement). Dr. Butler’s extensive background in instructional design, literacy instruction, culturally responsive pedagogy, research, and professional development is a testament to her range of expertise. In her role, she’s leading transformative and liberatory work centering literacy in the family and community engagement space.
