Yvonne Capehart Weah has a doctorate degree in education and is Co-Founder and Program Lead at WE-CARE Foundation for over 30 years. Yvonne has extensive experience in the areas of education supervision and teacher training. She assisted in developing and field testing of the Liberian early childhood education teaching and learning materials for the Ministry of Education. Yvonne assisted in the development of the Early Childhood Education level “C” teacher certification course and trained the teacher educators.
She has directed multiple education programs focused on literacy and pedagogy.

She is an author of two ECD books, 2 primary supplementary readers and teachers’ guidebooks.
