Kim Gavlick has worked in adult education since 1997 with Luzerne County Community College in Pennsylvania. During her time in adult ed, Kim has taught in and coordinated the adult education and family literary program. In addition, she has overseen the data management system, provided training and advice on the use of technology in the classroom, developed the program’s distance learning plan, customized workplace training, and conducted online and face-to-face training for all the program’s staff. Most recently, she has been the co-facilitator for her state’s Family Literacy Institute focusing on the implementation of the Family Engagement Framework.
