Claressa Hinton Thompson, MA, is the Carolina Family Engagement Center (CFEC) Regional Family Engagement Liaison for the Lowcountry since Spring 2019. Over the past 10 years, she’s devoted her time to serving families throughout Midlands and the Lowcountry, facilitating family-school partnerships and family engagement in education. She is the lead author of the CFEC Student Success Toolkit for Families, a translational science effort to adapt Getting to Outcomes® (GTO) for use by parents to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan to address challenges their children experience in school.
