Karrie Roy is passionate about public education, adult literacy, and supporting immigrant communities. Her experiences in Los Angeles, abroad, and in Grand Rapids, MI have deepened her commitment to equity and inclusion.

As Director of Operations at the Literacy Center of West Michigan, she helps lead free English classes for adults in schools, workplaces, and community spaces, partnering with local organizations to expand access to language and health literacy.

She holds a B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Indiana University.
