Annelies Goger, PhD, is the Director of Research at UpSkill America at the Aspen Institute. Dr. Goger is passionate about enhancing economic mobility and bridging the chasm between employers and the education system. Her recent work has focused on scaling apprenticeships and other work-based learning models, improving labor market information systems, promoting skills-based practices and strategic talent investment strategies among employers, and building infrastructure to support a resilient, future-ready workforce. Prior to joining Aspen, Dr. Goger was a fellow at the Brookings Institution and worked in evaluation research focused on US workforce programs and policies.

Her doctoral research focused on global clothing supply chains, regional economic development, and talent development. She was a Fulbright scholar in Sri Lanka.
