Nury Sandoval is an educator with more than 22 years of experience working with children and adolescents ages 2 to 16 in inclusive, multilingual, and culturally diverse learning environments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in special education from Iberoamericana University and a master’s degree in education from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Throughout her work in Colombia and the United States, she has focused on educational equity, supporting neurodivergent students, and promoting inclusive practices. She has taught in schools and universities. Currently, she serves as an Early Childhood Teacher and Inclusion Specialist at Briya Public Charter School and collaborates with the Education Department at the National Gallery of Art.
