In November 2025, attendees from 39 states and Washington, D.C. gathered at the Families Learning Conference to learn and share how best to engage families in learning. NCFL’s flagship event convened nationally recognized educators, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders around a central conviction: meaningful learning depends on strong family-school partnerships and shared leadership. Across keynotes, panels, and practitioner sessions, speakers emphasized that family engagement is key in supporting thriving families and communities.
