Participants will hear how building reading success with families starts with connection. When families are empowered as collaborators in their child’s reading journey, organizations can use a strengths-based approach to celebrate reading success. Focusing on out-of-school time opportunities, one organization supports reading gains by empowering students and caregivers to read together. Participants will leave with a family engagement strategy pack to use with those enrolled at their sites.
