This session highlights how a measurement tool centered parents as the first teacher of their child and showed positive outcomes for family literacy. Through staff and parents’ efforts, children gained social emotional skills, and parents grew confidence. Steps to using the tool and equipping parents to promote SEL skills will be shared.
