FACE: Building Partnerships for Strong Family, Program, and Community Engagement
Participants are invited into a conversation between FACE (Family and Child Education) leaders around family engagement as they highlight the partnership between national early childhood models that support FACE teams in implementing PAT home-visiting along with Pre-K and Adult Education components, recruitment and marketing support and a data team. This session will highlight how the integration of the key components support the resilience of Indigenous families focusing on engaging families, building school and community connections; addressing principles that help educate families as first teachers while focusing on culturally and linguistically responsiveness to improve learning and development of children prenatal through age 5. The Parents as Teachers -FACE Enrichment component partners with families in the context of tribal and community settings to support early development, school readiness, and family engagement from prenatal through kindergarten.
