Ashley is from a small rural town nestled in the Appalachian region of Kentucky. Overcoming personal challenges as a struggling reader in elementary school, she witnessed firsthand the vital role of educational programs in nurturing student success. Serving as the Director of the Jackson County Public Library, she has started numerous initiatives fostering collaborations within the community. Through these efforts, Ashley has cultivated a network of resources empowering families to achieve their aspirations and fostered a culture of learning and growth.
