Cassie Blausey, JD Mrs. Blausey is an attorney, systems thinker, and social-impact entrepreneur with 15+ years of experience guiding organizational transformation across government, education, and the nonprofit sector. A licensed Kentucky lawyer and co-founder of Sagebird Consulting, she partners with nonprofits, foundations, and small businesses to strengthen strategy, operations, and leadership while advancing people-centered change.
Her career spans classroom teaching, state and local policy leadership, and national nonprofit executive roles, including Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at Leadership for Educational Equity. She has led multimillion-dollar budgets, overseen high-performing teams, authored key Kentucky education regulations, and helped design Jefferson County Public Schools’ landmark School Choice plan.
Cassie’s leadership has been recognized through honors such as Louisville Business First’s 40 Under Forty, Alpha Delta Pi’s Dorothy Shaw Leadership Award, and the inaugural Alice Houston Women’s Leadership Program. She holds a B.A. from Centre College, an M.Ed. from UNLV, and a J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. Cassie teaches public policy at the University of Louisville.
