Cheryl Dexter is the Director of Community Education for the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi, where she leads statewide efforts to strengthen family engagement and early childhood outcomes. With over 30 years in education, including experience in special education and early childhood classrooms, she brings a deep understanding of diverse family needs. Cheryl works closely with communities, educators, and organizations to build meaningful partnerships that support children’s development and school readiness.
