Dan Hubler, PhD, CFLE is the Child and Family Programs Director at Bastrop County Cares. He previously served as a Professor of Child and Family Studies at Weber State University from 2012 to 2026. A researcher and educator, his work focuses on dyadic relationships, including couples and parent–child dynamics.

Dr. Hubler has led workshops in premarital education, parenting education, and couple education, and he remains passionate about developing practical, evidence-based programs that strengthen families. In his current role, he is especially focused on advancing family literacy efforts across Texas, working to increase parent engagement and access to books so that more children enter school ready to thrive.
