Dr. Emily Markovich Morris is a Fellow at the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution where she leads family engagement in education research and coordinates efforts to ensure students and schools have the supports and alliances they need to thrive. For two decades, Morris worked with non-profit and community-based organizations, government agencies, as well as international education institutions in the US, Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia on promoting educational access, equity, and inclusion.
