Dr. Jia Borror received her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership in May of 2012 and has over 25 years of classroom teaching experience. Dr. Borror serves as a faculty member at NSU’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice where she teaches courses in education at the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Educational Specialist level in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, and Early Childhood Education. She serves as a mentor to beginning teachers, develops curriculum for graduate and undergraduate courses, and conducts research in early childhood development, elementary education, STEM, teacher leadership, bullying, and emotional resilience.
