Dr. Megan Cook brings 18 years of educational experience spanning both Elementary and Early Childhood levels. She began her career as a classroom teacher before transitioning into roles such as Early Childhood Instructional Coach, Early Childhood Coordinator, and currently, Director of Early Childhood/Head Start for the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District. Dr. Cook holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education-Unified, and a Doctorate in School Leadership.

Dr. Cook oversees the daily operations of the Early Childhood department, managing grants that support Head Start, State-funded PreK, and an Early Childhood Block Grant.
