Dr. Noah Velthouse
Assistant Superintendent
North Gibson School Corporation

Noah Velthouse has spent his career chasing two callings: helping students discover their voices and helping schools become places where every student can succeed. He earned an undergraduate degree in English Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he also completed a Master’s in Education and his Principal Licensure. Somewhere along the way, he traded grading essays for budgets and board meetings—but he still believes the right words can change a life.
He began his career teaching middle school and high school English in Indiana, Michigan, and South Carolina before moving into administration. He served one year as Assistant Principal and seven years as Principal of Princeton Community Middle School, experiences that taught him leadership is less about authority and more about trust, consistency, and showing up for people every day. For the past four years, he has served as Assistant Superintendent of North Gibson School Corporation, working to support students, staff, and communities in pursuit of one simple but ambitious goal: success for every student, no exceptions.
When he’s not at school, you can usually find him towing a camper somewhere west of the Mississippi in search of a trailhead, a kayak launch, or a mountain bike path. His favorite classrooms these days tend to have pine trees, canyon walls, or alpine lakes nearby—and he’s found that some of life’s best perspective comes somewhere between a National Park sunrise and the first cup of coffee at a campsite.
