Mr. Mendizabal’s career in education started as a Spanish Teacher and Soccer coach at the high school level. Further, he pursued a bilingual and early childhood education certification teaching at k-6th grade bilingual grades. Additionally, Mr. Mendizabal has served in school leadership roles as Dean of Instruction, Vice Principal at the elementary and secondary levels, Principal at elementary and middle school campuses, district-wide Parent Involvement Coordinator, HIPPY & HIEPE Early Childhood Education Coordinator.  Mr. Mendizabal earned his Bachelor’s degree at E.T.B.U. further earning his Master’s degree at TWU, in addition to receiving his specializations and other professional certifications from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. with a concentration in Policy and Leadership.
