Felicia Wilson-Ocasio is a two-time parent participant in Activate! National and is proud to work in the field of family engagement/involvement with families for over 20 years.   She began with Learning Leaders, a New York non-profit and the largest school volunteer and family involvement program in the U.S. She provided support to hundreds of NYC public schools and families on using Learning Leaders services to strengthen their family engagement activities such as volunteering and supporting learning at home and facilitated and created content for the organization’s family trainings and workshops. She currently works in Early Childhood Education as the Family Coordinator for a NYC based Universal Pre/3K program and serves as an Americorps VISTA with South Bronx Rising Together, creating content and training for Bronx families on Early Childhood Development.
