Geneva Johnson

Geneva Johnson has worked in home visiting programs since 2002 and has many years of experience supporting early childhood programs on the Navajo Nation. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with families and communities to strengthen early learning and family engagement. Geneva has supervised Parent Educators and coordinated literacy initiatives that support young children and their families in developing strong foundations for learning.

Currently, Geneva serves as a Technical Assistant with the Parents as Teachers National Center, where she supports Parent Educators through coaching, technical assistance, and professional development. She provides culturally relevant training and encourages programs to integrate Native language and cultural teachings into home visiting services.

Geneva is passionate about strengthening family engagement and supporting programs in creating culturally responsive services that honor Native traditions, language, and community strengths.
