Ilissa has spent the last 17 years working with parents & families including working with at risk youth, providing case management services, serving as a Mental Health Technician and delivering home visits and lactation services for teen parents. Ilissa has experience supervising a variety of home visitation and self-sufficiency programs and currently serves as the Program Manager of the Parent Ambassador (PA) Program at Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative. PA is a grassroots effort to raise parent voice by providing advocacy training & leadership opportunities for parents and early childcare providers.
