Lindsay Brett

Lindsay Brett serves as the Director of Community Partnerships for Lee County Schools. Lindsay is committed to using innovative strategies to strengthen school culture and improve academic performance. As former principal, she believes that fostering strong, meaningful relationships with students, families, and communities is essential for driving school improvement, advancing workforce development, and building a thriving community.  Lindsay’s team was able to turn around the culture and reputation of a failing, high poverty school because of increased community engagement and culture building.
Lindsay serves on both local and state boards, teach the SLLA to future admins across MS, and an adjunct instructor of leadership at the university level. She’s been awarded several community and state awards, including NASSP Middle School Principal of the Year for Mississippi.  She have a diverse background, having served as a youth minister and keynote speaker for various religious and educational conferences. She also have an alter ego, “Gladys” who appears at conferences and in videos. 
Lindsay’s motto is to leave somewhere or someone better than you found them.
