With a deep commitment to social justice in early childhood education, Maya leads the development of program goals, strategy, curriculum, and ongoing evaluation. She brings 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood and Family Support fields, with expertise in group facilitation and anti-bias education training for educators and family support professionals. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Development from Columbia University and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Maya is also a proud mom to two daughters, ages 5 and 8, as well as a 10-year-old dog. Her favorite children’s books are Your Name Is a Song and One. In her free time, Maya enjoys spending time outdoors, and taking a spin or pilates class.
