Melanie has been at the Ohio County Public Library since 1999 where she started as a Circulation Assistant, working her way up to Bookmobile Librarian, Teen Services Librarian / Bookkeeper / Public Relations Librarian, Assistant Director, and finally Director in April 2020. Melanie has both Bachelor and Master degrees in Library Science and she is very active in her community, currently serving on eight different community committees. The favorite things in her life are her husband of 19 years, Michael, and their beautiful 11 year old daughter, Miriam.
