Rebecca Chrystal joined Raising a Reader in 2010 and has been part of the RAR family for over 14 years. She is the Managing Director of Programs and is responsible for overseeing RAR’s Community of Practice, Curriculum Development, Book Collection Curation, Publisher Relationships, and Partnerships. Prior to her role at RAR, Rebecca was the Director of Literacy Services for Reading Is Fundamental, where she led training and Multicultural programs. Rebecca received her Bachelor’s in Education from Towson University and her Master’s of Science in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University.
