Sharon Mofield-Boswell

Sharon serves as the Director of Family and Community Engagement for Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS). Over the past 25 years, Sharon has contributed to FCPS and the broader community in various leadership roles, including as an active board member of the 16th District PTA, vice-chair of the FCPS Equity Council Committee, and a member of multiple School-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) councils.
A passionate advocate for equitable educational excellence, Sharon is dedicated to fostering strong partnerships among students, their families, and the broader community. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Sharon holds a Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities from the University of Kentucky and is an Ed.D candidate in Educational Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands.
