Shea Coughlin

Shea Coughlin brings 15 years of experience in fundraising, communications, government affairs, and volunteer management to NCFL with former roles at organizations such as the award-winning Noble Network of Charter Schools and longstanding social service provider Northwestern University Settlement Association, in Chicago, IL. Shea led advocacy and government relations strategy for an organization representing 12 urban high schools and 600 employees. Additionally, she has played leadership roles in a $30 million capital fundraising campaign, and stewarded public funding opportunities and other strategic initiatives to advance the goals of the organizations she represented.

As NCFL’s Chief Impact Officer, Shea manages a team responsible for leading the organization’s fundraising and education programming. Her passion for community-level change and strength in big-picture thinking make her a great asset to NCFL’s leadership team.

Shea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Miami University and is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
