Todd Schmeeckle is a parent advisor and father of 7 children, five of whom are adopted. He has been an adoptive father; a parent of children with special needs; the Director of Family and Men’s Shelters at People’s City Mission in Lincoln; co-founder of a community house where his family lives and where he offers affordable housing to homeless people, people on parole and people starting over; and was an organizer of the Encouraging Parents Conference, a parent-led conference working with families of children with Individualized Education Programs.
