Wanda Michelle McKnight is an accomplished educator and leader with 38 years of experience in education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served students, families, and schools in numerous capacities, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, compliance, and student achievement. 

Mrs. McKnight has worked as a Special Education Teacher serving students across all grade levels and has held several leadership roles including Department Chair, Lead Teacher for Compliance, Student Support Team (SST) Chair, member of the Special Education Advisory Council, Special Olympics Chairperson, Reading Specialist, Peer Review Team member, and ESOL Endorsed educator. 

She currently serves as a Family Engagement and Compliance Specialist, where she works to strengthen partnerships among schools, families, and communities while ensuring compliance with federal and state educational requirements. 

Outside of her professional career, Mrs. McKnight has been happily married for 40 years and is the proud mother of one daughter, Courtney. She enjoys spending time with her family, organizing family events, traveling, singing, dancing, reading, shopping, and especially shopping adventures with loved ones. 

Her faith and church service are central to her life. She serves as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director, and Co-Chair and Teacher for New Member Orientation at her church. Through her educational leadership, community involvement, and ministry service, Mrs. McKnight continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
