Mike Goss leads a team of Toyota professionals that creates positive social change by engaging the company in community partnerships. As part of this work he serves as president of the Toyota USA Foundation, which governs the company’s Driving Possibilities initiative to support education and community needs where Toyota operates in the U.S. Previously for Toyota, Mike led communications, community engagement, and local government affairs for the company’s North American manufacturing operations.
Prior to Toyota, Mike was an executive at two leading public relations firms in Louisville, Kentucky and managing editor of a Kentucky daily newspaper. Mike is a member of the board of directors of SPB (formerly the St. Bernard Project), a disaster resilience and recovery non-profit. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Union College in Kentucky, where he is also a member of the college’s Business Hall of Fame. Mike also is a member of The Conference Board’s Corporate Social Responsibility Council.
