Lesley University
Liz Dempsey Lee is an educator, consultant, author, and avid coffee drinker whose questions about relationships between families and schools landed her in Lesley University’s Ph.D. program. She graduated in May 2020 with an interdisciplinary perspective on families, schools, and DEI. Shortly after, she launched LizDempseyLee Consulting, and published her first book, Parents As Advocates: Supporting K-12 Students and Their Families Across Identities. In her spare time, Liz teaches engaging courses as adjunct faculty at Lesley and listens to podcasts (while drinking coffee – of course!)
