Tracy Teater serves as the National Director of Community Impact, providing leadership for NFCFL’s 60×30 vision to establish coordinated and aligned Family Learning Systems in communities to co-design solutions centering families as experts to improve educational outcomes and remove systemic barriers to success, so all families succeed. Before joining NCFL in 2015, Tracy enjoyed a twenty-year career in Family Literacy, Adult Education, and Workforce Development as a volunteer, teacher, coach, program specialist, and program director. Tracy especially enjoys working together with program families and partners to leverage resources and seek new and creative ways to improve educational outcomes and reduce systematic barriers. Tracy holds a Master of Science in Adult Education from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from the University of Kentucky. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys traveling, rooting for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time with her husband and their five children.
