Research shows that nothing can replace the value of parents’ voices at the table. The Parent Teacher Workshop is an additional step in fostering leadership in parents, which strengthens relationships. Engaging parents and teachers enables advocacy for children’s education and connects the school and community. Parents adopt skills through these workshops that influence student motivation and engagement in school work and increases in academics and attendance.
