Amy Shane served as Elementary Principal and Superintendent of Schools in O’Neill, NE for 22 years prior to her retirement in 2022. She was involved in establishing the Family Literacy program at O’Neill Elementary and has continued to support the schools in her two-county area in her new position as Holt/Boyd Community Connections Collaborative Coordinator. She is also the coordinator for the Holt County TeamMates program, a school-based one-to-one mentoring program for students in grades 3-12. She and her husband Todd have two daughters and four grandchildren.
